Dr. Britta Schulze-Thulin, born 1966, did Celtic Studies, Scandinavian and General Linguistics in Freiburg i. Br. and spent part of her studies in Wales and Ireland. During her research for her doctoral thesis in Halle (Saale) she regularly went back to Wales and worked in the Centre for Advanced Celtic Studies in Aberystwyth in 2003. She turned her passion for Wales, walking and travelling into her profession and works as a free non-fiction author and lecturer in Halle (Saale). She helds a scolarship for teaching Modern Irish at the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle (Saale) since 2010.
